What better way to start off your Sunday than doing yoga….with alpacas. Buck Brook offers an even more intimate way to commune with the alpacas—by doing yoga in their domain. As they frolic, graze, rest, and play, a limited number of students will join instructor Cheri Brasseale in the pastoral splendor of the farm’s fields.

Cheri has been a certified Integral yoga teacher for over 20 years. For her, yoga is more than just the physical asanas—it is a philosophy that serves as a tool to access inner peace. Her classes are as much a guided meditation—integrating metaphor, humor, and visualization—as they are a movement class. She also incorporates her knowledge of indigenous teachings alongside traditional yoga wisdom. The alpacas, meanwhile, will perform their own unique meditation in the same field the practitioners are in, aiding the students in garnering an even greater sense of peace while gently “vibing” with these gentle creatures.
